NEW FEDERAL TAX LAW INCLUDES INCENTIVES FOR REDUCING BUILDING ENERGY USE

President Obama (D) has signed into law legislation (H.R. 4853/P.L. 111-312) that includes incentives for more energy-efficient homes and appliances. "Millions" -- homebuilders, homeownwers, and appliance manufacturers -- likely will take advantage of the incentives, American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) Executive Director Steven Nadel told Green Building Insider.
